My interest in spreadsheets and databases began when I moved to California in 2001. My first job was with a small non-profit foundation at the John Anson Ford Amphitheatre in Hollywood, California where I was given the task of rebuilding their patron/donor Microsoft Access database, a program I have never seen before in my life. The more I worked with Access and Excel, the more skilled I became with the really great functions they have to offer. Making that software actually work for the goals we were trying to achieve became very rewarding to me.
Since 2003, I've worked full-time for the Los Angeles Master Chorale, the premier chorus of Southern California and a resident company at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. Beginning with a development position and working with donors, I was again immersed in a challenging environment with the opportunity to invent and problem solve data management issues. My position crossed over into the Marketing/Ticketing side of the business a couple of years ago which REALLY allowed me to indulge my passion by creating ticket sales tracking programs, TicketMasterâ„¢ Seating Map Converters and many other helpful tools.
With my love of the arts and an eye for development and marketing, I'm eager to work with new organizations to help build strong patron management systems or streamline existing programs.
